Partlander 4X4
I became a Land Rover enthusiast at a young age. Starting my working career on farms I got to drive and maintain Land Rovers as well as other brands of 4×4 vehicles and tractors.
I passed my Institute of Advance Motorists course in 2006. I also worked for Land Rover Experience as an instructor for a time. I have always had Land Rovers myself and enjoy all aspects of driving them on and off the tarmac.
The Site
28 acre site with many different challenges and scenarios to challenge and test your driving skills.
Each obstacle will enable you to learn to navigate, risk assess and control the vehicle applying the correct techniques required to drive safely.
My Vehicles
While I personally have Land Rover vehicles you can bring any make and model of 4×4 vehicle.
Personally, I have a 2004 Land Rover Discovery 2 Landmark as my choice vehicle for getting round the site, as well as my 2001 Land Rover Defender, LE Tomb Raider, but the Tomcat was built to go out and do navigational and endurance challenges. Until recently and with the loss of the great Selwyn Kendricks, ‘Mac4x4 Challenge’ was the yearly event.
