With its bold stance, stepped roofline, distinctive chisled outline shape, superb levels of interior finish and comfort, Discovery Landmark is Land Rover’s most luxurious member of the family yet.
Despite all the luxury the Landmark has to offer it hasn’t forgotten why it wears the Discovery badge. Turn off the tarmac and onto the rough stuff where the vehicle feels at home equally as much. The air suspension soaks up much of the undelations Mother Nature throws in the way while the Terrain Response gives you the capability needed. The 3.0 litre V6 sequential turbo diesel engine (SDV6) offering 255hp and 600nm torque coupled to a 8 speed ZF automatic transmission allows the Discovery 4 effortless driving even towing 3500 kg behind, all while your hands are on the heated steering wheel.
Land Rover has always had capability at its heart and Terrain Response proves it. This proprietary technology acts as an off-road expert enabling the driver to tackle almost every surface with confidence. Terrain Response adapts to the responses of the vehicle’s engine, gearbox, differentials, and chassis systems to maximise driveability, comfort and traction.
There are up to five standard Terrain Response settings:
General Driving, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud & Ruts, Sand and Rock Crawl. So, the vehicle feels sure footed no matter what the terrain or weather conditions.
